The iPhone 12 launch was on October 23rd, so the phone is available now and you can buy it directly from Apple as well as from various retailers. However, you won’t be able to pre-order the iPhone 12 mini until November 6th, which will ship on November 13th.
The iPhone 12 is a more expensive phone than last year’s iPhone 11, with a $100/£100 addition to the price; it does, however, bring some new features in the form of an OLED screen, a slightly advanced camera, a better design, fast 5G, and MagSafe connectivity.
Here are 5 cool iPhone 12 features you won’t find on Android:
1) 5G faster:
It’s the first iPhone 5G. That’s right, super speeds here we come as we move into a new era of speed to enjoy things super fast. Whether it’s transferring files in seconds instead of minutes, watching movies or playing games, 5G is meant for people who want things faster than everyone else, which, let’s face it, is everyone. 5G is still very fast when everything gets congested.
2) Ceramic screen:
Apple changed the design this year, and that means the new iPhone is stronger than ever. In fact, it’s four times stronger. This is partly due to a new material Apple has used called Ceramic Shield. If we’re practical, it’s not even glass, but nanoceramic quartzes that are transparent. The end result is a super-defensive phone before you even put the cover on.
3) MagSafe Charging:
Do you still connect your phone? How old-fashioned. With the new iPhone 12 and new MagSafe charging, accessory charging becomes faster and stress-free. All you have to do is attach the wireless charger to the back of your phone (it uses magnets) and it’s already charging.
MagSafe charges at double the speed of typical wireless charging plugs, and even better, because it snaps into place, you won’t be picking up your phone realizing it hasn’t charged.
4) Fast Processor:
The iPhone 12 comes with Apple’s fastest processor to date, the A14 Bionic. Not only will it help you load apps and games faster than ever before, it will handle all the new photography abilities of the new iPhone 12. Using the new processor allows Apple to have an improved understanding of the photos you are taking. , which means better photos for you.
5) Dolby Vision:
If you’re an up-and-coming Hollywood director, the iPhone 12 is the world’s first device that offers the ability to shoot and edit Dolby Vision HDR tape. Video can be recorded at up to 60 frames per second – surely faster than the 24 fps at which most chartbusters are shot – and modified in the Photos app or iMovie.
The Dolby Vision rating is processed live and continued during editing, thanks to the A14 Bionic’s noise. Apple’s professional-grade editing software, Final Cut, will be updated to back up Dolby Vision HDR soon, and you’ll be able to play your latest movie with an Apple TV as well.
